DJ Dave the Wolf
Meet David Bidwell
Co-Host of The DnA Show | Founder of Wolf Radio | Technology Enthusiast | Entrepreneur
Meet David Bidwell, one half of the husband-and-wife team behind The DnA Show, alongside his wife and co-host, Amanda Bidwell!
David has a longtime passion for radio broadcasting, computers, technology, and entrepreneurship. Whether he's behind a microphone, troubleshooting a computer, or working on his next business idea, David enjoys learning, sharing information, and connecting with people.
A Passion for Radio That Started in 1996
David's journey into broadcasting began in 1996 with the creation of Wolf Radio.
Over the years, Wolf Radio has evolved through different formats and technologies, but David's interest in broadcasting has remained a constant.
For David, radio is about more than playing music. It's about bringing people together, sharing interesting information, and creating an entertaining experience for listeners.
Today, Wolf Radio continues that tradition as an independent internet radio station, with The DnA Show bringing conversations, entertainment, and personality to the airwaves.
Computers, Technology & Business
David's interest in technology began at an early age. As a child, he experimented with computer programming and even created the original text-based wolf design that became part of Wolf Radio's identity.
His passion for computers eventually led him into computer repair, troubleshooting, and on-site technical services through Wolf Enterprise.
Alongside his work in technology and broadcasting, David has also been involved in developing Trimming Edge Lawn Care, expanding his business interests into landscaping and property maintenance.
His experiences in technology, radio, and running a business give him plenty of real-world knowledge and stories to bring to the microphone.
Behind the Microphone
As co-host of The DnA Show, David brings his curiosity, technical knowledge, opinions, and sense of humor to conversations with Amanda.
From computers and technology to current events, unusual news, local businesses, and everyday life, David enjoys exploring a wide range of subjects.
The show originally focused on technology and computer repair but has grown into something much broader, combining entertaining discussions, music, interesting stories, and occasional surprises.
Together, David and Amanda create a relaxed atmosphere where conversations can go in just about any direction.
Supporting Local Businesses & Community
As a small-business entrepreneur himself, David understands the work and dedication that go into building and operating a business.
Through Wolf Radio and The DnA Show, he hopes to create opportunities to highlight local businesses, interview interesting people, and share stories from throughout Western Massachusetts.
David believes that everyone has a story worth telling and that radio can be a great way to bring those stories to life.
More Than Just a Radio Host
David wears several hats: radio broadcaster, technology enthusiast, business owner, and co-host of The DnA Show.
But whether he's working on a computer, maintaining a lawn, developing Wolf Radio, or having a conversation with Amanda, his approach is much the same: stay curious, keep learning, and enjoy what you do.
