Activities

Fri. - Check In, Set Up, Meet For Coffee and Dessert At Group Campfire. Bring Dessert To Share – Coffee Will Be Provided.- If You Have Extra Firewood Bring It For Group Campfires – Thanks!

Sat. – 1730 (5:30pm) – 1900 (7:00pm) Our Traditiolal ” POTLUCK DINNER”   Bring A Dish To Share, Along With Your Own Plates, Silverware and Drinks.

Sun – Coffee and Doughnuts! In The Morning. – Farewell Until Spring!

*Campers:  2 ADULTS = Included In Price  Additional Adults $5.00 Per Nite. Childern 17 and Under are Free.

The 66th Campout was held at shady pines campground & Picnick Area in Savoy, Massachusetts – Hosted by the Scott Family (Brien, Dorothy, Matthew + Sarah), There were 12 trailers = 41 people attended!
It was “c-c-c-cold”! – the campfire was kept burnind day and night! We even had hard winds, rain and snow fall on saturday, just as the potluck dinner commenced. Although the weather wasn’t warm. the time shared with friends was just as great as always.
The “theme” for the weekend was “mickey Mouse/Disney”. Clothing, decorations and carved pumpkins followed the theme.
Friday Night started with our traditional dessert get-together – desserts, coffee, tea and hot cocoa where enjoyed by all!
Every camper chose pumpkins from the :pumpkin patch” to carve for a pumpkin contest to follow the potluck dinner on Saturday.
As ususal, the food at potluck was outstanding!
The pumpkin contest was fun. Barry Rickert agreed to be our judge. we couldn’t thank him enough. And the winners were:
1st Place: The Sacharczyk Family (Mickey Puzzle)
2ed Place: Matthew Scott (Disney Trivia Game)
3rd Place: Lois Meserve (Tigger Duffle Bag)
Sunday morning there was a beautiful sunrise (although Still Cold) – It Was Just glorious!
A Dunkin Donuts breakfast spread was setup, including: donuts, muffins, bagels, coffee, tea,hot cocoa and orange juice. Everything was just yummy!
Everyone Said “good-bye” ‘Till Spring’.
