Activities

Fri. – Check in set up & catch up on everyones summeraround the fire. Enjoy coffee, tea & hot chocolate. Bring along Halloween dessert
Sat. – Enjoy your day at your own Leisure, but be back for out pot-luck dinner. Dinner starts at 6.00pm (1800)

Sun - Wake up to pancakes, eggs, tea & Hot Chocolate.

Attractions:

Store, rec hall, boating, fishing, hiking. Trick or treating camper to camper, Honted House, Pumpkin Carving, Private Hay ride.

Our fall camp out was held at Brialee Camp Ground, in Ashford, CT. on
October 13* through October 15th. We had the most fantastic weather this
weekend. It was sunny and in the mid 70′s to low 80′s.
There was also beautiful
foliage.
Friday evening, we had desserts around the camp Fire
Some of us ventured
out on the haunted hay ride that was held at 8pm
Saturday morning, the Bellemere boys carved Halloween pumpkins. In the
afternoon Amy Nash and her friend Kristina Hayhurst were judges in the
Halloween Costume Contest. Later that afternoon all the children went trick or
treating from 4:30 – 6:00pm. There were over 100 children trick or treating
through out the park from camper to camper.
At 6:00 PM we had our famous pot
luck supper. l think that every pot luck supper out does the last one. That
evening the park opened their Haunted House. Those that dared go in had a
haunting experience.
We all enjoyed another camp fire that evening, eating
scores and popcorn.
Sunday morning the Wagon Masters Lenny and Shelley Nash made all 42
Kilowatt Campers breakfast. Len flipped the pancakes while Shelley fried the
eggs and bacon. that afternoon for those 26 people that syayed until 1:00pm (1300)., had the pleasure of going on a beautiful foliage ride down country roads in a very large wagon filled with hay. Then we all said our good bye’s until spring.
