Fri. - Check in; Set Up and Enjoy coffee, tea & hot chocolate around a campfire. bring an apple dessert to share with all. Awards will be given for the best dessert; 1st 2ed and 3rd place awards

Sat. - Enjoy Your Day & Feast at our Famous pot-luck dinner. Bring a dish from your own nationality. Dinner Starts at 6:00pm (1800)

Sun - Wake up to coffee, tea, hot cocoa & donuts, muffins, ect, Farewell till spring!!

Other Information

We all spent a Halloween weekend at Brialee Campground in Asltford CT.

You couldn’t have asked for better weather for the whole weekend considering the

time of year. 

Friday night we for our apple desserts and campfire. First prize for the best

apple dessert went to Sandra Sacharczyk’s apple pie. Other winners were Barbara

Dery, Barbara Bidwell, and Charlotte Bodurtha. All winners received prizes and

certificates. 

Saturday was a fun filled day. There was a costume contest with over 100

children all dressed up. Shelley and Amy Nash, George Lamson, and Kristina

Hayhurst all took part in judging. The costumes were all awesome and was hard to

make a decision as to who was best. Later on, all the children in the camp went

trick or treating. There were so many trick or treaters, we all ran out of candy.

Brialee made a wonderfully haunted house for all the brave souls to venture

through free of charge. That evening befall gathered together for our Ctnationality”

pot luck supper. The food was as usual, great. 

Sunday morning we gathered for donuts, mains, coble, tea, and hot

chocolate. Later that morning all of our group took a 30 minute wagon ride on some

beautiful country roads in the area. This was definitely an exciting weekend. Bob

and Barbara Bidwell will be hosting the spring comport.
