The weekend kicked off with a get acquainted campfire and dog on a log roast Friday

Saturday morning it was up early for coffee, hot chocolate, blueberry muffins, and

After everyone was finished with the donuts the ladies took a fitness walk to get rid of the extra calories. The kids watched cartoons, while the donuts were cooking. Later in the morning they made pin wheels, giant bubbles, and played frisbee. Some of the men played lawn darts. The ladies made Jewelry from wall paper.
After lunch most everyone gathered at the pavillion for pumpkin carving, The pumpkins really came out great. After that young and old bobbed for apples on a string. Gloria Oberhetm was great at it.Those that had any energy left played soft ball. The men didn’t get to do the brain buster tournament, but were given the puzzles. The ladies got the solution to puzzle. The potluck supper that was planned for the pavillion was moved to the rec hall and combined with the one the campground was having. Everyone voted to do that because it was quite cold. After supper everyone doned their costumes and marched to the rec hall, where there was a dance going on. We had witches, clowns even Mother Superior. Art has been dieting and it really showed. There was nothing left to him but the bones. Wonder if Bob Howson is still in his night gown, and if Peter and Jean Cammarano are Still brushing with Crest and flossing. We had our lit pumpkins on display while we sat at the campfire.
Sunday Morning there were more hone made donuts Muffins, coffee and hot chocolate.
Everyone sat around and visited. Some of us went through. the book and crossed off the
names that no longer participate. All in all we hope everyone had a good time, and that
we will all meet in the spring for another fun weekend hosted by Art and Barbara Dery.
